December Car Art

December Car Art

Just like that, 2022 is in the books! This month of December car art has been a busy one as I’ve been wrapping up Christmas gift commission pieces. I’m very grateful to everyone who ordered a piece of artwork as a Christmas gift – thank you so much, everyone! This has been our greatest year yet, and it’s only with your support that I’m able to do this.

I’m super excited to have repeat customers, and I’m grateful to Rebecca and Michael for the opportunity to draw their stunning 1981 Chevy Luv! When was the last time you saw a Luv truck this clean? The truck was drawn using Micron pens and Copic markers on toned tan paper.

Just as appreciated, word-of-mouth customers are amazing, too. What greater honor is there than a customer satisfied enough to spread the word? Thank you Liz for the opportunity to draw Tom’s beautiful 1978 Corvette! The car was drawn using Micron pens and Copic markers on white cardstock.

I had the privilege of drawing this beautiful home portrait for Kirk. The stone work was a particular challenge, but I was very proud of how it turned out. The house is drawn using Micron pens and watercolors on white cardstock.

The Christmas tree truck is popular in home décor, and this kustom is my take on the classic image. My mom loves the Christmas tree truck, so I drew this for her for Christmas. Merry Christmas, Mom!

Thank you, Theresa for the opportunity to draw your beautiful 1964 Chevelle! I was really proud of the chrome Draglite wheels on this one, and the graphics on the sides really scream 1970s street machine, which is a very cool vibe!

Finally, thank you Shevon for the opportunity to draw your beautiful Grand Prix!

It’s not often you see well cared-for W-body cars, and it’s fun and refreshing to get something different! The mesh lacey wheels were a fun challenge on this drawing. The car was drawn using Micron pens and Copic markers on white card stock.

Thank you so much everyone for your Christmas orders – it means a lot to us. That’s all for the December car art recap. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, everyone! See you next year!
