Society6 Hot Rod Store
Need a new bar stool? How about a shower curtain? No? What about a comforter? I just opened a new Society6 store and these and many more products are available for print-on-demand purchase. You can visit and browse the Society6 hot rod store here.
Society6 is a print-on-demand store that uses artists’ work on a variety of merchandise. I’ve uploaded five of my super-high resolution original drawings and a huge variety of merch can be purchased like wall hangings, beach towels, tables, and pillows.
The six drawings I chose are all from 2020 and feature some of my more recent techniques contrasting light and dark on a variety of cars. First, my Scallop hot rod profile drawing is the piece I use for the header on my sites. It’s a classic and one of my favorites. You can read about the art here.
Next, the Graham Sharknose started as a pencil drawing on toned gray paper and then was later revisited with ink and markers. You can read about it here and here.
The Christmas Tree Hot Rod truck is next, and was just finished this month. It’s my take on the classic Christmas tree truck made famous by Norman Rockwell. You can read about it here.
Next is the famous Stephen King horror classic Christine – a 1958 Plymouth Fury that kills. You can read about this drawing here.
To add a different style in the mix, I added this 4×4 Ford camper van that was part of this year’s Inktober series. It features a 1969 Econoline drawn using just Micron pen on sketch paper in my hatch shading style. You can read about it here.
Finally, I added some muscle with this 1970 Firebird drawing. You can read about it here.
I’ll continue to add products as I draw them.
There are still two days to order and rush ship for Christmas, so timing is tight, but perhaps a “better late than never” gift might be just the right thing.
