More Jeeps!

In keeping with the Jeep theme, I thought I’d try out a Dodge M37 and a Power Wagon! These are both done using the water-based markers on card stock – I have decided how I feel about these markers yet. I really like the application, but the layering is intense, making them very tough to…

Jeep Wagoneer – in Water Color

I bought some new water-based markers today since alcohol markers are so expensive – I thought I’d give it a try and see what they’re like. Here’s a little Jeep Wagoneer that I think turned out pretty well.

1970 Firebird Marker Sketch

My markers are running low! It’s going to be time to refill on markers soon, which stinks because they’re pretty expensive.  Anyway, here is a 1970 Firebird sketch.

1969 Camaro Marker Sketch

In light of the 10 millionth Mustang produced, I thought I’d make another ’69 Camaro sketch – Alcohol Markers on 8.5×11 cardstock. 😉

Brougham, Part II

What happens if you take a luxo-barge and make a straight-axle gasser?  This, I suppose:

’32 Ford – A Variety

The ’32 Ford is the quintessential hot rod – but there’s always room for imagination! Here’s a variety of designs based on the traditional Deuce, including a riveting (HA! Bah dum tiss…) steampunk ship, and a futuristic ship that really looks like a combination of Boushh from Return of the Jedi and a penguin.

Brougham

I love Al Pacino in the movie Donnie Brasco when he’s arguing about Cadillac vs Lincoln – “Yeah, I got the Fleetwood Brougham…”  So, here’s a 1980 Fleetwood Brougham, with a full 500 cubic inches.  Fuggedaboudit.

Art Show at Teabaggers!

It’s been a very fun and exciting weekend! Jessie, Henry, and I headed down to Urbana, Ohio (the town where I grew up), to set up a small art display at a local coffee shop, Teabaggers. Grant and Demora have been friends of ours for a long time, and they generously invited us to come…
