Boat Sketch

I’ve been busy this December with some commisioned pieces for Christmas. Now that Christmas has passed, I can start posting some pictures. This one is a boat -my first boat sketch, a Mastercraft Prostar 190.

Jurassic Park Explorer & Wrangler

Jurassic Park is one of our favorite movie franchises. Jessie got me a ton of new Copic markers for Christmas this year – what better car to try them out on than the multi-colored Explorer from the first movie… I had to draw the Wrangler Sahara to go with the Explorer.

3rd Gen Camaro

My friend Joe asked me to sketch this 3rd Generation Camaro for a coworker of his. The chameleon paint job was tough to blend but I think it turned out pretty well. Merry Christmas, Randy! The black frame and matte really make it pop: Here are a few photos I used for reference:

CTS-V Painting

I was visiting a friend recently and came across this painting I made for him back in 2011. Really neat to be reunited with thia one after nearly eight years! I’ve had a chance to see these cars race at Belle Isle and they are very raw!

1978 Silverado Square Body Sketch

I’ve been a little quiet lately because I’ve been getting some Christmas presents together that must remain secret for the time being. I can share this one though! My friend Cliff asked if I could make a 1978 Silverado sketch – I think this one turned out great!

Happy Thanksgiving!

After a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, we stopped at Michaels and picked up the biggest canvas they sell – a 48×60! It is so big we had to rachet strap it to the roof of the car. Now just need to decide what to paint on it!

New Spotlight

I got a neat new spotlight for my ’55 Chevy painting today. I like the way it lights up the grille.

More Jeeps

Here’s a couple of Jeeps for my friend Jason to hang in his office.

Here are the various stages laid out:
