Toyota Celica Drawing
I like all kinds of cars and styles, but my favorite is American muscle and hot rods. That said, I find the first generation Toyota Celica annoyingly handsome as it uses many of the design cues of classic muscle cars of the 1960s. Here’s a Toyota Celica drawing.

I started out with a rough pencil sketch on toned gray paper. This 3/4 perspective is a little more front-end biased than usual.

Next, I used Micron pens to retrace and clean up the lines.

Next, I filled in the shading with Copic markers.

I used primarily neutral grays, but the wheels are gold (yellow and brown markers), and the corner markers are a variety of yellows.
Finally, to finish off the Toyota Celica drawing, I added charcoal white pencil for the shiny reflections and in the body itself to pop the car off the page.

I’m really proud of this drawing and excited at how well it turned out. This one is available for purchase in the shop, here.
