1926 Model T Drawing
The Tin Lizzy, a car for the people. Nearly everyone is familiar with Henry’s affordable automobile, and this 1926 Model T drawing represents one of the last iterations before the Model A took over.

This drawing is a commission piece, made with Micron pens and Copic markers on toned tan paper.

First, the car was roughed out in pencil using this circle template for the wheels, and ship curves for the body lines.

Next, Micron pens were used to define the line work.

Finally, Copic grays were used to fill in the shading. Posca white was used for the shiny reflections. I think the ripples in the fabric top turned out really well. I also used a skosh of blue in the hood to reflect the sky.

This drawing is framed in 11×14 with 8×10 mat. The mat nicely ties in with the white reflections in the body. This 1926 Model T drawing is a wrap!
