Kustom Kamper

Here’s something a little different. I’ve been enjoying working on customs lately and thought a classic camper would be cool. This one is a 1940 Ford. Doing some digging, it’s tough to find examples of pre-1960s camper trucks. Must be because of the curved roof.

I chose to make a custom camper top that follows the curved contour of the roof. I dropped the truck to the ground and kept the hood off to show the polished intake.

I wanted to give it a little bit of a shop truck vibe, so I drew this spark plug graphic on the door.

here’s the finished rendering. To go with the spark plug theme, I added a classic electricity lightning bolt logo above the camper window. Mint green for the wheels, with two matching stripes on the camper top.
