Trying Out a Little Red Accent
I brought a red Pilot fine tip gel pen home from work this week to use for some detail work. Here are a couple pieces I sketched out using it.

First is this 1967 Mercury Comet Caliente drag car. I used the red to accent the lower headlights, headliner, and a stripe along the side of the car. I think the Cragar SS wheels and the long tube headers make it look cool.

This one is a 1959 Chevy Impala stock car, and honestly, is one of my favorite sketches I’ve done. I used the red on the number seven and the rims, and added a red outline around the outside of the car to make it pop. I love how big this car is.

This last sketch is another favorite, the ’55 Chevy gasser. I added Copic grays to this one and gave it a red roof.
