Take it Away, Ern!

I thought the Knight Bus from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban would be a fun fan art piece to make.

Here are the line sketches in pencil:

Copic marker ink added in – I didn’t have the right purples so the bus is more of a lilac than deep purple, but on the tan paper it gives it a vintagy bookish charm.

I added some finishing shadows and pen line work to define the edges. Finally, some white reflective bits and a white outline in white charcoal.
