1968 Charger – Ink Only!
This started out as a doodle in pencil just to see how the perspective might come out, and when all was said and done, culminated in about six hours of work.
What would a ratty Charger look like in linework only? Well, like this. It’s very difficult to capture dents, dings, rust and other discolorations using markers without some significant skill. So how else can it be done? Just using lines to define the imperfections.
Again, I failed to take many in-process pictures, but here is a nice close up of the details. Straight hatch lines are used for shading rather than marker values, and it gives a comic-booky appearance.
