Lincoln Continental, Part II
This is part II of the two-part Continental project, a 1957 Mark-2.
Also on toned tan, to really push the vintagy engineering drawing-esque feel.
This one started the same way, with the front wheel and measuring out 4.5 wheel widths to the rear. From there, it was just blocked in using wheel diameters, and adding radii to break the edges. All this done with my Star Wars #2 pencil.
From there, I started adding ink in the form of Copic cool grays from light to dark, then shading in the dark wheels and adding shiny accents with the white charcoal pencil. The white wall wheels really pop on this one.
Finally, it’s framed in a dual opening frame with the ’63. I love the contrast of the white matte and the tan paper.
