1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst DRAG CAR!
Sticking with the toned tan theme…

I love the brickiness of the ’69-71 Chrysler 300 – it’s such a huge land barge – and the idea of making a drag car out of one sounds excellent.
This one was roughed in with pencil, again like the others, but I jumped straight to white charcoal prior to line work.
Then line work using 01 & 02 Microns. I added a molded-in side exit exhaust.

Then added in the tan features and Copic detailing. I thought I’d use a steelie style wheel on the rear for the drag slick. It’s filled in black with white charcoal accents indicating the lugs and the ribs in the rim.

And then finally outlined with BG72 greenish blue, with a white accent line around the edge. I think this particular drawing looks reminiscent of vintage ’70s design drawings of the Geza Loczi era.
