Boat Painting

This boat painting was a commissioned birthday present for a coworker.

Painted using acrylics on a 36×48 canvas. This is one of the largest canvases I’ve painted on.

I wanted to capture the sparkly blue paint on the top portion of the boat so I got a special bottle of glitter acrylic to cover the base color.

Looking from an angle, you can see the sparkles when they’re backlit.
