Another Jeep – This Time with a Landscape
I was recently fortunate enough to get this job as a commissioned set of three.
I started out with ink pen outline using Faber Castell 0.3mm, and shaded with Copic Marker. Posca white was used for reflections.
This one is a bit larger than I typically make, and it took an 11×14 frame rather than an 8×10. It’s T-hinged with artist tape.
I really tried to make distinctive use of atmospheric perspective in this one. For example, the trees far off in the distance are lighter than those up close. Also, darker and thicker outlining is used for features closer to the viewer.
